All members of the Board of Trustees and Board of Directors are community volunteers who serve without compensation.
IMCBA Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is a five-member board appointed in
staggered four-year terms by the City-County Council and the
Mayor of Indianapolis.
The sole duty of the Board of Trustees is to appoint the
Board of Directors.

The five-member Board of Directors are appointed to a one-year term by the Board of Trustees and are responsible for the management of the Building Authority.
The Board of Directors meet monthly to authorize expenditures, award contracts, and transact any business of the Building Authority.
